Awesome. Mine is also set on 21. If I can't make it out on time, because of work. I'll give you a shout when I show up out there.

The antena should be adjustable. The knobs on the front should control the volume, squelch and chanels. I can be at the gas station a little early and we can tune the radio and get you set up. Just be sure you have the antena mount grounded and everything else hooked up.

Here is a link to my install. You have a different unit than me but the concept is still the same. You can run the coax into the cab from a few spots. I used a ruber gromet under the back seat in the middle of the truck and ran the coax under the plastic trim pieces on the drivers side. I cut a hole in the gromet just big enough for the coax. If you need more help PM me so we dont thread jack to bad. Also do a search on here. Some other members have more detailed instals.

I just have a rooftop magnetic antenna. I can put it up when I need it, and lay it in the back when I don't

So I'm planning on making it out the 23rd, but don't really want to take the truck. Is there a good place by this shell station I could drop my truck off for the day and hitch a ride with someone? And would anyone be willing to have a co-pilot? :D

You can ride shotgun in my truck. I am not sure of a place near the gas station to park but I am sure there is a place at the park.

There is plenty of room at the park where you can leave your truck. This way you know it's safe. When you come in the gate, there is a huge parking lot where we can all setup, and air down for the day. You can leave your truck there. Thats where all of the guys with trailers park, while they're on the trails.

Tru dat. Maybe I'll actually remember my cameras this time.

Well see that's the thing, I was reading on their website you have to pay for every vehicle that comes into the park and as of jan. 2 every vehicle needs an OHV permit. I don't really want to pay for all that if I'm just going to park my truck.
