I’ve been running the stock radio in my 2015 Access Cab with the fader almost all the way forward. I have always done this and just prefer the sound from up front.

I have 5x7 2-way components that I’m going to put in the front doors. I don’t want to do a full system install, but thought about buying the Alpine Power Pack that can be bridged for 2 x 100 rms. The plan would be to Power the fronts only with the Power Pack (2 x 100) and just leave the stock rear speakers alone (powered by the stock head unit).

    Thoughts?
    Dumb or doable?

    Completely Doable.

It will sound 100 times better than the stock speakers.
