Right there with you. But I am shopping for LED bulbs. Are there any that are decent, or is a full headlight swap the best option? I just installed rigid industries fogs and was very impressed w the performance. Now i would like so LED headlights to match.

its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
im in the same boat as you I would like to get some LED h4 headlights but the concensus is they don't work well in OEM housings, also be carefull about what you read a lot of lighting products on TW get hyped up only to fall thru at a later date by people who get hood winked into buying, try staying with the legit and proven sellers and read the reviews and use search.

I've noticed that about people trying to point to a specific product. I now understand the warning about 'trolling' on this site. So in the end of the day, I don't want something overly bright, but just good performance with matching color to my fogs.

Then get a higher end halogen bulb. LED's work really well if you don't want light projected very far. The optics in your 3rd Gen's headlights aren't designed for LED's or HID's but will take advantage of a higher end halogen bulb. When I had my Volvo C30 with projector housings, I ran Philips Xteme Vision bulbs and they were fantastic.

If you really want LED bulbs, I do believe Phillips makes an LED bulb that is supposed to be a direct replacement for a halogen bulb, however I don't know all the sizes they make nor do I know what the 3rd Gen's are. Xenondepot has them in various sizes, they are pricey though, I think the kit I saw was like $280.
