BRING OUT YOUR DEAD

So by now I’m sure we’ve had some parts fail due to overuse or miss use( maybe manufacturing defects) Let’s see those parts and tell us what happened. I’ll admit mine is pretty lame but I thought what the hell this may be fun .




My truck got rear ended in a 4 car pileup in 16 . At least it gave me an opportunity to show how chinsy this set up is . There was no way I was going to put it back on so this is what started the chain reaction build for me . It started with armor. I remember telling my dad that when I grew up I would drive a car with what I called crash bars at the time . . He told me that was probably a good idea Lol .

 

Dang I guess these things are holding up pretty well . I’m not surprised mine is holding up very well . I figured we would have a little more trail damage though at least . Mine has needed some armor resprays down low but nothing to major.

 

I’ve shredded the factory skid plates, but i’ve not replaced them yet

 

Yeah they’re extremely thin . Show us a picture. Carnage thread is a plus.

 

Actually i have a better one. Rear shocks blew out on Mojave Road

 

Oh wow !Tell us a bit about that . Fast over rugged terrain until it seized? Do you have any pictures of the terrain? It would be nice to know the limits of the shocks .Are those stock or OME?
