I've seen the bringatrailer mentioned here a few times. It's the place that got me interested in tacomas, 4runners, etc - along with Datsun 2xxz. I've been looking at that site for a couple of years. It seems as soon as I added a credit card and got hunkered down to get an old but clean toyota for a daily driver, prices literally got stupid. Like $25K for sometimes questionable 30 year and older vehicles. More for very clean examples.

I've also just learned the phrase "cheap money". Is that all it is, people with way too much unearned money, driving prices to these hights? So in 2 years, the $25K 1990 4runner will be back on the market and affordable at $7-8K again?

Sam for the Datsun 240z, 280z. Those too became an instant joke.

All my life, as soon as I thought something was desirable, immediately the rest of the world did as well. I guess I'm the master psychic trend setter. Now that I know this, I need to use those powers to distract people to other directions.
