    Aloha Guys,

Alittle back ground story I’m a Toyota Tacoma Enthusiast as you would say.
Love to build trucks from ground up. One picture is of my 2003 Toyota S Runner 3.4 Supercharged (Sold) sadly

Picked up this 1999 Tacoma about 9 months ago just because I wanted a truck to haul things around with.
It has a 5 speed trans 3.4L motor, decided to build the truck after about 5 months of owning it. This is the journey.

Truck was in pretty rough shape, rust, dents, smashes. ended up bodyworking and painting with epoxy primer in my garage

Bought some cosmis racing rims, custom fenders. Fabbed up a iPad dash and some door pods.

The truck is currently in paint for its final color, brand new seats and interior sitting I’m my garage waiting for the truck to be done. A lot of custom audio work to be done by myself as well.

Color is a secret for now, all I can say is, it isn’t black, it isn’t white.

Look forward to QA1 install, final paint color picture. Motor work (turbo) ECU wiring. All the goodies

Truck should be done with paint in a few weeks, got a lot of work to put in, interior is completely gutted, no carpet, driver seat and dash board only. Really excited to get it started from ground up

Here’s a pic of the parts pile 2 months ago (you should see it now). Got a lot of speakers coming in for this truck, thinking a blowthrough with 2 12” subs in the bed. 4 10” mids 8 8” mids and 16 supertweeters. I’m a speaker head, as long as it looks and sounds clean I’m content. Keep it alive in here guys gotta keep my drive high for the stress that’s about to come with this build.

Sadly I sold it a few months back. I regret it. But the boy that has it now is painting it and putting it on bags. I sold it with 348k on it. Ran like a top. I have a second gen 5 lug now

Those 2.4s last forever. My first truck was a 2005 2.7 access cab 5 lug, sadly before the build started somebody clipped me while driving on the freeway causing me to spin out and hit the wall resulting in a complete loss.

Ain’t too hard to find, I found this truck for $1500, total so far maybe around 7-8k invested. Planning on keeping this one since I’m going balls to the wall but we will see. If the price is right everything is for sale.
