and here they are! Bilstein 5100's all around with ome 2884 light load coils in the front. And 2889 med load coils in the rear. Ride is great, more stiff but very smooth! If that makes sense? Sorry if this not a good place to post these pics. Mod can move it if its needed.

I went up there today - the gate is open, wide open. In fact, its been ripped off its hinges.

There's also a washout, right after a bridge (guessing roughly km 12). A bunch of timber has been washed down a creek this spring and is currently covering the road. Looks like a few ppl have trimmed it back somewhat and drove over it. I wasn't willing to try that cause my wife and I were alone and my tires aren't good and need replacing.

A few minutes with a chainsaw and a couple strong backs and the road will be good as new.

I'll try to post up some pics.

Nice Avi! That is exactly what I have on the FJ.

DJ and I picked this area a few weeks back after it was mentioned.

But I don't know the trails at all up there, never been on them. I am hoping that someone who knows them can help navigate? :)

Sombrio or BB72 - could you suggest a place to meet?

I just checked out the map to get to the cafe from my house, thats a long ass way! 100 km 1 way! How far from there to the mine road? I may have to bring a gerry can.
Also what time to meet up? and how's traffic in that area on a sunday?

If we're taking the mine road, it's actually better to meet at Fury creek as you can't turn left southbound on Hwy 99.

As for fuel. There is a chevron at Exit 7 (west ridge/west mount) on the upper levels in west van. Furry creek is about 2km south of the mine access road, at the top of the hill.

Avi - the drive goes by pretty quick.

That's how far anyone from N van or Van has to go to get to Harrison or Sasquatch Inn!

The time I posted at the start of this thread is 10 am. From CLoverdale It'll take you about 45 I think Sunday morning (don't quote me on that :))

Thanks Sombrio - So meet 10 at Furry Creek?

I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining, Appologies! By the way... it's ADI, with a "D" LOL!
I know that regardless where we go someone's got to drive a ways, I just didn't realise that it was that far away!

10am @ Furry creek works for me. There is a red building right at the entrance. Not sure I'd there is parking there. If not, there is a gravel lot on the west side of the hwy by the tracks.
