New to Tacoma's but not new to 4x4's. Previously had a 1991 Ford Explorer, 5.0L with custom 5 ½" lift on Super Swamper's, 1988 Samurai tintop with spool on 28" tire and an 1989 4Runner. The Tacoma will stay mildly stock for now... just vent visors, Tonneau and a short shifter installed so far.

    Still stock completely capable!
That little voice isn’t wrong! Hahahaha! But the cost of boat is a lot of maintenance and repairs and GAS. Tacoma’s are mods and enjoyable stuff lol!! Congrats and beautiful truck!

Owned Tacomas since 2007, all my company's vehicles are Tacomas. Currently driving 2015 TRD Sport with 2.5 inch Old Man EMU lift. Live on Bowen Island. Getting horrific (18-20 ltr per 100) mileage, but that's because mostly driving up to 45 km per hour and the obvious.

Overall, happy with Tacomas for their reliability, ability to get out of very tough spots and looks of course :humble:. Not as happy about not adjustable seats and.... no f@#$ing diesel! Yes, yes, I would really love to have diesel in my Tacoma.

Finally got some wheels. Tire shop mis understood and put white letters out. Cant decide if I'll keep it that way.

Might need a little bit of a lift now!

With VIs ramping up in the last year and a half, I put away my "race" car due to a really shitty VI and not wanting to get into it with VPD again. At the time, I had a 98' Pathfinder that I used for camping/winter/daily. The gas on it was outrageous, not to mention it's not comfortable at all. This year I started looking for a new car, to replace the pathfinder. My criteria was New, some technology, comfort and M/T if possible. I kinda lost hope in finding something until this popped up. The day it was released on the market, I drove straight down to the dealership and bought it.

Picked up my 19' Calvary Blue Sport Upgrade MT about 3 months ago. I initially was looking for an OR but none fit the criteria, I figured the price difference, I could add a locker down the road and MT doesn't get the crawl features. Have almost 11,000 km on it now. Camping at 80km, got my first(severe) pin stripes at 800km and 5000km road trip at 3,000km. Took it down to Cali then on the way home went through the Mojave, Valley of Fire, Moab. I have a lot planned for this thing this winter to get it ready for camping and festivals including burning man.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking truck.

The VPD are harsh lately. They forced a coworker to get a VI. The car passed with only one change, a new muffler. It's bizarre.
