    Thanks!

Yes, don't have the travel trailer anymore but we still have that canoe and plan to get it up on the truck.

However, not sure what way I want to accomplish this yet.

The west side of Harrison FSR was a shit show this year. Literally.

Places I’ve never seen anyone at, places that were always pristine, and every weekend was packed with multi vehicle groups blasting music and breaking beer bottles in the fire ring (woohoo ) or, during the week, covered in garbage and actual shit...not even in the bushes but piles right in the cleared area, and toilet paper everywhere.

That ‘type’ of camper is nothing new in the gravel pits and cleared areas roadside but usually if you’re more than a few hundred meters from the road it’s pretty good. Sad year.

Its just brutal. I don't get it. Back in the day in my 20s we'd always camp a bit rough, but I don't ever recall leaving a mess behind. Was reading how much garbage they trucked outa Jones Lake in October for the annual cleanup. insane. People are assholes.

And what happened to digging a hole and burrying ur shit?

This looks awesome! I have seen many of these Prinsu racks and they appear to be very popular and versatile.

Our old aluminum Grumman Canoe is a bit of a beast. It's heavy and my wife is short making it hard to get on top of a vehicle.

Our 2003 Pathfinder she couldn't do it. I had to get the neighbor to help me get it on top of the vehicle. Unfortunately my kids are too young to help yet.

The beauty of the old ladder rack I had on my 1992 Toyota was I could lift it up on the back of the rack and then just push forward from the back by myself.

However this helps to see this set-up.

    Thanks for sharing much appreciated!

How stable is this doing highway speeds? Does it move left or right at all?

    Thanks.

Could not agree more. All my family moved over to the island. We on the other hand hope to move to the southern interior. The quieter the better.

I’ve got gunwhale brackets on the crossbars holding it steady, and strapped twice plus now and stern lines if we’re going on the highway.

the only thing I love more than my truck is my boat!

maybe I’m just reading this wrong, but how do you gain better fuel economy by adding a couple hundred pound cap?

This happened across the whole nation, but especially our province. Try living in Tofino, fucking despicable domestics here this summer, utter clowns. The truck is pretty capable to get me and my lady as far away from the non sense as possible, but I opted to buy a boat 6 weeks ago to take evading dumbass tourists to a new level.
    Stoked for next summer.

Better aerodynamics if anything, I can't get a better read out now though because I've added larger and significantly heavier tires as my winter set. It's pretty common to see fuel economy gain when adding a canopy.

@photogr4x4 did you put the 255 coopers back on? I think you told me once you loved duratracs for winter wasn’t it?

I'll be honest I was surprised at 3L too, have to wonder if it's even better without the high rise.

Cooper 255s for summer, I considered Duratracs for winter but I wasn't willing to sacrifice winter and specifically ice handling with an AT. Had a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUVs for the first winter and just recently changed to General Grabber Arctic LT in 265/75R16 which have been impressive in all conditions we've seen in the past three weeks.

Edit: The Generals cut through 8" of snow like it's nothing. I'm excited to see how they perform if we get our annual meter snowfall in February.
