Nice to see someone try something different. Been following your build and looking forward to see the 35's stuffed.

Unfortunately the 35's are a no go :pout:

Like 90yota said, no way to fit without cutting :sawzall: Not that I don't want to cut, I don't have the time right now. With all the Starbucks runs, Protein, Squat Trusts and dealing with my dad and his leaves, I just don't have time bros.

Not to mention they wouldn't mount them. I rolled them up just to see how they looked, and man they do look pretty big. 315/75r16 Pro Comp AT II's.

Store manager said he has a 2011 2.7L with a Manual 4.56 gears and 285's, and he said 35's are going to be a bit much. So I went with a 295/75r16. Should work well, but they won't be in till next Monday.

I'll see how the 2.7L and 4.88's pull the 295's and then go from there. :mudding:

I have 295/75/16s on my Tacoma. It feels alittle bit sluggish but honestly it's not too bad and I still have the stock gearing.. But for sure with a 2.7l motor it's good that your going to re-gear it because you would definetly need it. Here's a pic of my Tacoma so you can see what the 295s might look like. Love this thread by the way!! Hahaha. Good laughs bro :thumbsup::cool:

So, I've had this pretty annoying rattle since the lift was installed. Couldn't figure out for the life of me what it was.

Well tonight I found it. I got a Fruity Punch stuck in the fan belt again.

I wanted to run Ray-10's in either Bronze or Gunmetal, but both are back ordered till at least the end of the year. So I'll be pimping the stock TRD OR wheels with some 1.25" Spidertrax.

I got her back on flat ground for some measurements.

    Front Driver:
    Stock: 21 1/2" Now: 26"

    Front Passenger:
    Stock: 21 3/4" Now: 26" (with 1/4" spacer)

    Rear Driver:
    Stock: 22 1/8" Now: 24 1/2" (With 1/2" Shim, wtf?)

    Rear Passenger:
    Stock: 22 3/4" Now: 25 1/2"

Still fighting the "taco lean" :bananadead:

The rear axle wrap is pretty bad with the 2.5" lift blocks, I debated putting in 63" Chevy's, but I'm lazy, so I'm going to run Dakars.

For the front I'm going to go with the FOX 4-5" Lift Coilovers. Part # 883-02-044, and drop the front down to about 3.5" of lift. These might be a month or so out.

    Shock Specs:
    Travel: 6.320"
    Extended Length: 25.80"
    Collapsed Length: 19.48"

Tires are in and should be mounted and balance by tomorrow :bananadance:

All in all I have about 500 miles, and everything is nice and smooth. Only problem is the second I had it aligned the VSC light came on. I'm still researching the VSC issue. I packet the hubs full of grease, and I'm hoping that's not whats messing with the sensors.

Looks a lot higher than 4" o_O 3.5" and I should be happy.

Front end is nice and quite with the ECGS Bushing.

I understand the convenience of the bolt on Dakars and would most likely go that route myself with a new truck. But just wanted to play devil's advocate here and say how great the ride was on the 85 and 90 Toys I put Chevys in.

I went full bro with the tire choice. I think it looks good, but they are a little bit smaller than I was hoping for. 295/75r16

I'm a little worried about the 4.88's, truck drives just fine now with the 3.92's. I put about 100 miles on today, and tires are quiet and pretty smooth for E-Rated. Re-gear will be nice, but I don't think needed right away.

KO2's and White walls bitches :taco:

Not as heavy as I was expecting.

    TRD OR Wheel: 29lbs
TRD OR Wheel and 265/75R16 Hankook ATM's: 63lbs
    TRD OR Wheel and 295/75/16 KO2: 88.4lbs

I need Light Bars for Days, and Nights @BROcephus
    [IMG]

Tread width is exactly 9" Fawking taint right in the middle of the picture

Pops was on one today, luckily he didn't even notice my truck, he was shitting over the stacks of tires that were building up everywhere.

I don't care that he can't get his shit out of the garage, not my problem.

Yeah, I don't know any wheeler that isn't using 63 Chubby's. I actually think I have a set laying around.

I pulled the trigger on the Dakars, 3* Shims, Wheelers Bushings and I'm going to drill and install Friction Pads on the leaves that don't have them. Seems many say they are squeaky. Hopefully they get me 2 1/2" lift with the 3rd leaf removed.

I've actually been hauling a lot in the Bro-Coma, and the factory springs are acting funny. It was never the same after I hauled 1,400lbs in the bed. Rear Taco lean was 1 1/2" to drivers side.
