Well, Brocoma is on a timeout, cause I'm pissed at it.

Dakars' didn't give as much lift as I wanted. They ride a little more firm than stock, but zero axle wrap.

I found a hella dank new taco place while cruising DT Capitola. Bomb street tacos.

So, I'm not super stoked about the Dakers. With the 3rd leaf removed, I think I only gained about 1" of lift, and my Taco lean is 1" rear side to side, ridiculous. One good thing is the springs don't negative arch when under load. I took my brothers new 35" Grabbers to Goodyear to get mounted, and the springs barely even noticed the 350-400lbs in the bed.

I guess ARB marks the springs with - / 0 / + depending on if they are at, below or over spec. Mine were marked with 0.

I don't want to add the 3rd leaf back in because it's already borderline stiff. But I need to put the 1/2" shim back it so the taco lean isn't as bad. I've gone through like 5 center pins so far bros.

Alright, Bro-coma is back to where I like to drive it again.

I swapped the 2" blocks back in. Dakers do a great job of controlling axle wrap. There is less wrap now with the 2" blocks than when she was stock.

    8.75" is pretty beefy.

Dakers ride pretty flat as @ChadsPride stated.

Oddly I didn't have any drive line vibrations, but I still added two shims to the carrier bearing. Didn't really notice a difference.

Also, got to give a shout out to @Benzdriver81 for the vote. 3rd gens need more support for Build Thread / Thread of the year. Ego is pumping level 9 right now bro.

I can't believe you didn't like those dakars. Mine ride fine. Fit 35's. And can haul somewhat of a load (camping gear and rtt).

Nevermind. I forget you have a big boy lift. :)

I like them, I think I was just expecting more lift, Mine are sitting pretty flat, but they handle a full load or tires pretty well.

On a side note, my dad is pissed. He's flipping out about the tires and extra parts. He says he's going to throw all my shit away. @fordfascist said if pops does that I need to take his ass to small claims court.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I wonder if I got the + springs or something. Granted I have a smaller lift but mines still taller in the rear even with my front cranked up. You've seen it. But again, you have three more inches in the front than I do. So I can see where the disappointment happened.

Good work bro - looks like the work of the master mechanics at the dealership when they installed my recall leafs. You should try out the nutless spring eye bolt mod they hooked me up with too. Just hit up Cabe Toyota if you're ever in Long Beach. I'm sure they got a ton of mods like this for their customers.

Rode that way for 2 months but it started clunking when I started being noisy hitting the speed bumps in front of Joann's Fabrics. But the bullet and a hit in fuel economy from the weight of that nut when I put one on, but it's quieter when cruising for the honeyz. Always wanted a crafty babe to crotchet up some dope sweater and scarf beer coozies for my natty & c minuses for the winter months.

Oh man, that's pretty bad. Mine was making all sorts of screachy and clunky sounds.
