Popped off a few rounds. Didn't hit the target at all, but I don't think that's the point of shooting, you're just supposed to flex and look hard AF in order to make the other dudes jealous of your massive biceps right?

Just kidding, I was getting ready to take my LTC/CHL class on Monday.

Word I just buy blanks and pop'm off in front of the bedroom mirror. Neighbors are old and hard of hearing so it's chill. Besides only the first few clips are loud. My 9 is modded so it gets quieter the more you use it. I almost can't even hear it anymore! Good times yo!

There is a lot of bro in this post, and I'm digging it. However, I would not recommend 5" blocks in the rear, and not just because to be in bro status level 4-6 the rear has to be at least 2" lower than the front. I was running 2 1/2" rear blocks, and axle wrap was horrible with stock springs.

Power wise, I have a manual Access Cab so not sure about an auto, but if the truck is empty it's no problem, I think it had better power than a 13' 2.7 stock truck I test drove. However, with a load in the bed or pulling hills, it requires a down shift, sometimes even to 3rd. All and all, I'm pretty impressed with how it pulls the 33's, totally doable. My tire wheels combo is almost 30lbs heavier than stock, and 9.7% taller.

I'd read the several Maxtrax threads, including @ChadsPride 's build, I'm not sure if I would push the front to 7" just for drive-ability reasons, for bro-ablilty reasons, fawk yeah :headbang:

This would be a good weekend to hit the range. I found one in Morgan Hill I haven't been to, and it's supposed to be pretty good.

Nothing is more bro than AR-15's.

This thing is tactical AF. The only thing it's missing is a chainsaw

So Christmas weekend might have been a bad choice to build my skid plate, instead I did some killer interior upgrades.

Also, I demanded Santa to bring me lots of Ram Mount accessories.

Hondo's Garage Radio Knobs, and no drill Ram Mount from @wileydavis

    New Shift Knob.

I used the Grommet Method for the boot, I had a new Grommet set from Harbor Freight that came in handy.

Had to trim the back side for a good fit.

Also, the rest of the parts came in for the rear 8.75, so now it's time to get it re-geared. OEM bros!

What's this axle wrap stuff you talk about? Sounds bad. Should I stick with a 4" block instead?

Dakar is expensive AF. I gotta pay for an expensive AF engagement ring. That's why I am on a small AF budget.

Seriously tho... Don't Dakars only lift like 2" in rear? 7" lift up front an 2" lift in rear will look like a dog squatting. I don't want it to look like my truck is taking a huge shit in the parking lot.

@TPayneNFA just make sure to do lots of research before sliding that card. Lots of parts don't play well together.

One thing to note about the RC 4 and 6" lifts is they use the same drop brackets and knuckles, and the DB only lower the LCA's 3.5" where as a ProComp lift lowers the LCA's 6".

I went with the Rough Country because I only lost about 2" ground clearance, where any other Drop Bracket kit you loose a lot more.

@ahkouchi if I were to do it again I would go with the Wheelers Offroad 3 leaf add-a-leaf kit for $159. Then Saved for a custom Alcan pack at a later date.

The Dakars are really nice, but I was hoping for a little more lift, I got about 2" with the 3rd leaf removed. And at the $450 I paid for the Dakars, I think it would have been better to spend $600 and get custom springs.

Or I might break out the fire knife and install 63" Chubby's.
