Well, I'm probably going to get sick again, it was hella cold in the garage. Baldy refuses to add heating, I've about had it with him, If it wasn't for his credit card with my name on it, I'd be out of here.

Front skid plate is done. I need to test fit it before paint, but kind of embarrassing story why the Bro-Coma isn't here.

Instead of remaking the skid plate, I decided to plate it with 3/16" and add some 1/4" x 1 1/2" plate to the sides. I weighed it, it's heavy, 31lbs.

Plate is drilled for plug welds and RC skid is prepped for welding. I cut the "RC" logo out and welded 360* to the 3/16" plate.

All welded up. Ready for flap discing.

Got a chance to test fit the front Skid Plate, Fits perfect!

Way over built, but I should be able to impregnate a Prius/ hipster and not suffer any damage.

Sawy Bar cleared, but it was pretty close, so I flap disc'd a notch in the 1/4" side supports.

Picked up one of my greatest enemies, Racer 5 IPA. It may be only 7.5%, but it will mess you up pretty quick.
Also sorry for the splashed mud on the Bro-Coma, I hit a puddle, and now I need to take her in for a detail.

Also worked a little on my trailer wiring, while the paint was drying.

Skid Plate is done! I might skin the outside with some 1/8" aluminum to bring up the Bro Rating. Pretty sure Bro and 3/16" plate don't go together.

Primed with some Krylon Semi Flat, and then shot with some Duplicolor Kevlar Bed Coating. I love when everything bolts up with no issues.

    Sway Bar clears nicely.

Also, couldn't stand the splashed mud on the side so I had her detailed. Stole Pops free detail at his favorite car wash, one of these days he'll catch on.

Also, added the 3rd shim to see if any difference is noticed. Is there oil in the carrier bearing? I have an oil residue.

Also, WTF is up with one of my tires? I'm guessing it was left in the sun or something, it's brown and not very rubbery feeling. You can see where I rubbed it.

    Other tires look like this.

Finished a side project, Trailer Hitch and Wiring. Haven't tested it yet, everything was bought through eTrailer.com No brake controller, because I don't plan to tow anything heavy, but the wires are there in case I upgrade in the future.

Also, busted out the Cancer Fume Wire Glue'er. No crimped wires here.

    Curt Wiring Harness C56282 $58

    Curt Trailer Hitch C13264 $139.95

I used dialectric grease on the connectors, and everything went together perfect. Vehicle Taillights still work without power going to the converter.

I wasn't expecting this, but the 7/4-way plug fits the factory location perfect. Old plug/ cap pops off easy from behind.

I will remove the supplied Curt 4-way connector and solder it into the new 7-Way harness.

Install was pretty simple. Just took time to run all the wires, and cover them in Split Loom.

    Wire Welding :welder:

    Little too long, oh well.

    And zipped tied into place.
