    Looks good. I've been meaning to do the same. I assume you just spliced into the truck's wiring toward the rear of the truck. Blinker to blinker, brake to brake, and so on?

    Stock
    The kit converts the signal from the factory lighting to work with the trailer lights. It has a small converter that mounts behind the drivers taillight, and has pigtails that intersept the signal, so no cutting and splicing of any factory wires.

    The kit comes with a 4-Pin connector, I cut that off and soldered it into the new 7-Pin bumper plug.

    I'm pretty sure the ONLY way to add trailer lighting is using a converter.

    Green arrows show connectors and where the converter is located.
