    I've just lived alot of life. The thing I can see is that you have your world and your standards and you've got stuff nailed down and you know what makes you happy.

    The tricky thing is figuring out how to make one's way in this world. I've followed all the rules only to get screwed over time and time again. I've learned that working for yourself is the best path. There's nothing better than that because no one can get in your way or screw with you. When someone holds the purse strings they try to control you, etc...

    What your going through with your dad is what a lot of people go through...one generation not understanding the other generation.

    I'm a gen X'er and we were called slackers because alot of us got wise to the system. We learned not to care about wanting stuff because that means we had to work harder and get trapped in the cycle of low wages and long hours. It's just better to have a lower standard of living than to live an unsustainable lifestyle. I see millenials being wise to this as well.

    I don't know why I'm posting all this but it can be like therapy I guess.

    No tent as of yet, just the rack, but I tell people I take everything off except when I'm exbroing.

    I spent my auto refi loan money, and for some reason the credit union won't give me another one. Pops kicked me out, cancelled my/ his credit cards, aunts making me clean up horse shit for room and board, life is rough bros.
