They are the gunmetal. I reserved a set late last year, and drove up to Oakland to get them pretty much the same day they arrived.

100% availability on a Tuesday is pretty rad. I've either done something right in life, or incredibly wrong:rofl:

Nice score man, Im sure it was worth it. At first I thought that gunmetal might be too dark for me, but I have been looking at matte gray for a while. Since I got a red taco like you...this is giving me other thoughts.

Personally I think they are too dark, and I wished I went with the Matte Silver. The Bro Cummins has the Brushed NV's and I wanted to be a little bit different.

Ah ok...I have been on the idea of the matte gray because of fearing the tire would get too blacked out. Still looks pretty fresh man, im sure people comment on it a lot.

Not as much as you would think. When you go around acting like Randy Savage, but look like Balki, people tend to stay away.

Too bad Randy never did voicing in video games...I think gears would of been perfect for that dude. Hearing him still pumps me up!

When had your diffs done did you have them do that ecgs bushing too?

I'm finally ready to get my gears done. It's 500 bucks to have them remove the diffs. That's very tempting!

I had rear end specialities in Santa Clara do mine. $1000 and I dropped off the truck with a box of gears and an ecgs bushing. All I had to do was change the oil after break in.

Sweet. I just got the quote from them. That's what my quote is too.

It's really tempting to have them do everything. 550 bucks isn't bad to not have to do anything.

That was my thought, it turned out to be $1040+/- when they added the price of the oil for the initial fill.

@erok81 @Longboard1110 $1,000 seems pretty good. Pulling the front diff is a lot of work.

Any inconvience they have run into with me, they have only added like $50.

Pulling my own diffs and doing my own ECGS install, they charged $450 and that included the ARB install, as mentioned its worth them doing it for $550.

I reused all OE bearing with 18k on them. Also, I have zero howl.
