Developed a humming noise from 50-75mph, gradually getting louder as speed increases to 75, and completely dissappears after. Thought it could be the carrier bearing so I went ahead and replaced that as mine had some age and wear on it. Unfortunately didn't fix the noise but definitely a good thing it was replaced.

And so it begins! Finally getting started on tearing this thing apart for the 4x4 components. My garage sits on an incline and the engine currently isn't running with the supercharger removed so had my roommate push me into place with his Expedition:rofl:

Still figuring out how exactly I'm going to get this thing out of the garage once the front end is salvaged and the engine/transmission are gone.

Was able to get the driveshafts, exhaust, and transfer case out tonight. Going to see about the transmission tomorrow, then engine this weekend. Want this rusty POS out of my life asap!

Transmission and front diff are out! Getting started on the engine next and then will most likely junk the rest of the truck. Be on the lookout for the engine and transmission to be up for sale soon!

Finally got the ScanGauge back from Linear Logic for repairs. Turns out the board was fried which was causing it to kick the ABS light on. All is well for now. First time using the mount I made months ago.

Engine is pulled! Not too bad for my first time. Pulled a couple more parts and going to put a lot of this up for sale. Trying to get some cash back for what I paid for the thing.

And away she goes. Got $200 for the thing even with most of the truck picked apart. Not having to haul it myself either. I'd call that a win!

Not many in regards to the build, have just been selling off the pieces to the parts truck so that I can fit the truck in the garage again:rofl:I am about to purchase the bulk of that list you sent me for the 4x4 conversion though! Big thanks again for that!

Was able to get the ARB Bumper on last night after a lot of pain trying to decipher the instructions and finally figuring out that 70% of the hardware they give you isn't used. The truck is finally starting to take the look I had envisioned for it:cool:

Resealed the camper shell over the weekend with the help from my girlfriend. Used butyl tape to ensure a good weather proof seal on the windows. Hopefully it holds!

Also added a Prinsu roofrack for the camper that I picked up off a guy on Facebook marketplace. 3D printed 4x handles for the sides to help getting up and down. Doubt they will hold with the sun but time will tell.

I've got some KC lights sitting around that I was planning on using but those IPF's are really growing on me. Awesome picture!

Added some bungee netting to the top of the camper shell for that little bit of extra storage. Found a set on Amazon for ~$20.

Doing the front and rear U joints tonight. Hopefully this solves the vibrations I'm getting under acceleration. Praying it's not the double cardon joint causing the issue. Went with Spicers for both.

Had P0440, P0441, and P0446 sporadically kick the CEL about every tank or so for a month now. Picked up a new OEM VSV for $100 off eBay. So far so good.

Been awhile TW! Have been busy moving houses and haven't had much time for the truck. We did however get the RTT on the cap finally and gave it a test run this past weekend down on the beach. Worked out well with my girlfriend, myself and our 70 lb dog. Didn't plan on having the pup in the tent but with so many mosquitos we had to.
