One more thing I DO have to mention. This picture is of their Performance series shock, which from all my searching so far appears they have done NO revisions to (Performance series are full aluminum body shocks, Factory series are full steel zinc plated body shocks). The Factory series shock is the one which has received the major revision of the upper stem.

Apparently, my shocks are listed under their Universal Stem Mount Shocks section page 12 of 14 in their application guide. PN: 980-24-636

Both of you guys' Fox piggybacks are Factory series made of low carbon DOM steel (the body as well as the resi) a quick Google search of said part number immediately pulls up Factory Series, plus the aluminum versions have this weird cheap dingy gray look to them and typically do not weigh a thing. If you guys installed them yourselves I'm willing to bet you felt some good weight on them am I right?

You have a Factory series then. I can also tell immediately because of the zinc plated appearance to them. They have a pseudo brushed stainless steel look to them. Lol.

There are so many shocks that sometimes their database misstates information. I know for sure those are metal though. They weigh a pretty decent amount for what they are. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing for our already lightweight rear end.

Edit: BTW I just checked the PDF again for shits and giggles and the 980-02-372 are listed under the factory series so are the 980-02-417 FJC piggybacks.
