Oopsey. I cracked my passenger side mirror (manual, not powered) (both glass and plastic housing). I see the used mirrors cheap on eBay, but what are the steps to replace?

My search leads me to power mirror replacement, where you need to remove the door panel. (?) Do you need to remove door panels for manual mirrors, too?

It's a 2007 access cab "base model". Possibly one of the last years you could get an access cab with manual everything. I love manual everything! Wind up windows 5 speed manual transmission, etc.

    Hoping to fix myself. Thanks.

^According to this video, the two lower mounting nuts are obscured by the door panel, so the door panel needs to come off regardless of the mirror being powered or not. The door panel is hooked to the windowsill, so you won't be able to just pull the top of the panel away from the door to access the nuts.
