That's a pretty idiotic and dishonest post man. Personal responsibility is the key here and the guy gets it. You don't.

Oh they will be quick to not warranty any driveline issues with a lift, including wheel alignment, steering issues, transmission, etc

extreme angles on the CV axle will greatly reduce it's reliability and make it more prone to failure...this is why it's always recommended to not lift over 3in if you have an IFS 4x4, at least for Tacomas anyway. Unless you do a drop bracket lift, or body lift or some other kind of lift that doesn't affect the front driveline.

Even 3" can be pushing it, I had a 3" lift with Kings on my 04 and after a few months I had a CV axle failure where the inner joint of the CV blew apart inside the boot. Also had a couple boots with tears in them during that time from the fins rubbing. I lowered my front lift down to 2.5" instead and haven't had any issues since.

Yeah OP already agreed warranty is done. I think most of us just want to see the pictures and figure out how/why it failed so that he can correct the problem.

Did you ever actually measure anything or just judge off looks? On the ones I’ve seen and measured side by side the Pros are indeed lifted in the front.

But posted no pics or other info into what exactly happened.

Seems more like a 'i fucked up and want attention so will post giving limited detail to get everyone to start asking but keep them waiting'

I've measured ones I've seen and they were not higher.
They were the same measurements as my off road prior to lifting.

But then others say they've measured and it was different so I wouldn't doubt it's just typical inconsistency in builds like how some run 285 with no cutting and others need to cut. But for the two pros I measured they weren't any higher than a stock off road

Many people are going to fault Toyota before their mods. I was playing the odds.

You do realize that a lot of dealers will tell you to bring it in in stock form so there’s no warranty issue to be questioned? I’ve had it happen twice on previous Tacoma’s and there was no issue. To say that it is a crime is just ridiculous. Is it a crime if the dealer says to bring it in stock? Is the dealer now defrauding the warranty provider?

I’ll answer that for you, No, it’s not a big deal at all.

It’s still fraudulent warranty claims at that point, it’s just supported by the dealership who is defrauding Toyota knowingly instead of you defrauding them both without their knowledge.

It is when I eventually have to pay for it because higher cost.
Your logic is questionable at best.

3/4 of the time a pro doesn’t sit higher than any other trim. I’ve measured as well. It’s strange.

    Measured as well.
Get a tape measure, go to a dealer, measure both, a PRO and whatever you want. Same. Sue Toyota for false ad and demand dealer gives you 25% off the PRO since is not higher.
P.S. Dealer may be a jackass (if he knows about the height diff) and have the PRO tires over inflated and other taco's tire under inflated.

Spacers are bad. Ridiculously overpaying for a factory suspension upgrade and then stacking spacers on top of it and exceeding acceptable CV angles- ignorance can be expensive.
