Well first off, most of us wouldn’t have put ourselves in that predicament in the first place. You did that that to yourself. Second, you gamed the system and got lucky. Good for you. We are all so proud that you trafficked drugs and got away with it. Now I’ll tell you, and anyone this, I catch anyone selling drugs to my kids ... will be sucking food through a straw for at least 20 years.

With that said, no, we all aren’t angels. I’ve done bad stuff. I’ll admit it .. but drugs were never one of them. As far as getting caught if I did something wrong, yeah, I probably would do anything to get out of it but being the man I am, I’d also own up to it.

Wow you missed the whole point just to sound like a tough guy!

If you are good at being a dad you wouldn’t need to add your what if story... Would your drug addicted kids also need a straw to eat out of visiting you in jail?

 

The dealer will easily be able to tell that the truck was altered/messed with just by looking at the bolts.

 

The whole point was him doing something “bad” and getting away with it. Also to mention that he was calling us, the ones that do the right thing, angels and that we could no wrong. So yeah, it was warranted.

And I have raised my kids the best way I know how. Drugs? No. Lazy? Yes. Are they stand up model citizens? No. But do they do the right thing? Yes. I’ve done my part.

I lost a best friend to drugs. Period. Nuff said about that.

He was trying to justify the others comments about doing something shady and getting away with it hence his comments about getting away with his problem by finding loop holes etc.

He referenced all of us that wouldn’t do what others said the OP should do as “angels”. I said in my comment that I’ve done bad things and no angel ... so assault on a drug trafficker selling drugs to my kids (or any kid) is warranted in my book. Right or wrong.

 

Sometimes assault is perfectly justified. A few things I’ve learned from even the most basic comic book tropes- never take a “bad” guy to return a bag full of money, and never take a “good” guy to get revenge on the crime lord who murdered your family. They are BOTH not up to the task at hand. You hardliners are functional only half of the time.
