Hey all.I have an 03 tacoma, 2.4, 5speed, 2wd. the belts were squealing and I was going to replace them. The ps belt came off without a hitch. The ac belt not so much. The bolt holding the pulley attached broke loose easily. The adjuster screw head snapped off while loosening it. The correct way, as I can tell, would be to drop the ac and take the entire bracket out and fix it on the bench. If I took the bracket off would there be any issue driving it? It's my daily driver.
Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
