    thanks for the advice, i'll check what they are getting, cause he did say assembly and i was very specific i needed both the mount and the mast, and he said they had them together as a single kit cheaper then separately, so that is what he would order. if they don't i'll order it for sure.

    ok well I didn't see anything listed for complete oem assemblies but maybe he is using a non oem kit

    anytime you need the correct oem Toyota part numbers for things on your specific truck, use this site and enter your vin number. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q.html

    it is tricky if you don't call things by the same name Toyota calls them so sometimes searches can be tricky if you call it by its name but Toyota calls it something else

    its weird though, and hard to explain until you run into it, but as an example, I think a power window regulator is called door glass actuator or something like that. you run into some strange phrases like that so sometimes searching for things takes imagination to find it and the name they call it by.

    another example is, we would call them crush washers for the washers that are on the drain and fill plugs on the rear and front differential, but when i called toyota they called them gaskets.

    And that brings up a idea, could call toyota and find out what they call it, get a part number even and a price, then find it for the cheapest price.
