A friend of mine was changing the map light bulbs out on her 2022. One of them broke. What would be the best way to get it out?

Yeah. I'm not sure how it happened. When I did mine I did the tape trick to get mine out and didn't have an issue

Same happened to me in previous Taco. Needle nose pliers pulled it straight out. Good luck

Still better than the "use tape" method.

Wrap some tape around the bulb and pull straight down.

Why change light on a 2022? Something I should know about? Disco lighting?

Yank it down and change it. Not so difficult.

Actually, they're a pain in the arse. I couldn't get my fingers around the bulb enough to yank em or get needle nose pliers in there. That's why I recommended wrapping some tape around the bulbs and then pulling straight down.

I pulled the one down on my previous Subaru with a lot of force. Hand slipped right into a sharp plastic piece inside and I bled all over brand new seats. But yea, first time they are stiff. Nothing sharp in the Tacoma ones though, lol.

It feels like it’s going to brake, but it won’t. It’s just clips. Yank it down hard.

When I first did mine I wrapped headphone wire around it and pulled. Worked perfect
