So i see this sign that says-
"Caution Extreme Potholes Next 17 Miles"

I drive about 10 miles before making smart ass comment to my pregnant wife about how "they call these extreme?"

Next thing you know i hit a fucking pothole that nearly makes me crash-
At about 50mph I almost lost control of rear end on icey road.

Made it home but now have a loud popping sound from left front suspension every time I make left hand turn.

    Busted CV?

Nothing visibly wrong to you. The experts of TW might disagree. Is there play in the CV?

PSU- thanks for input. It really sounds like it is coming from front end but I'll take a look at the rear end as well.

I was unaware you could warranty broken shit caused by not heeding warning signs, hitting extreme potholes at 50 mph, and nearly loosing control.
Note to self, now I understand why Toyota fights warranty work so much. Thanks OP!
