I went to open my driver side door this morning when part of the half cracked/tore. Probably a quarter is still attached. How hard is it to dismantle the door to put a new handle in?

Would two part expoxy drying over night be enough to temporarily fix it? I don't have the time at the moment to take the door apart to replace the handle...

It fixed my dads Tundras tailgate handle for the longest time before he replaced it. Im sure to replace it you'll have to remove the inside door panel and it'll be on with a couple screws.

It sucks. I had to replace both of mine earlier this year. It took me a while to figure out how to remove it and put it back without losing any parts inside the door.

I found a cheap pair of genuine Toyota handles off Ebay. I think they were around $25 a side. Anyways, if you look there are a lot of aftermarket handles starting around $12 or so.

My passenger side is broken also along with my small rear window latch, I think I'm going to replace both handles. Just have to find a good source. I'll try ebay, if not there the stealership I guess.
I'll post up what I find.

So the expoxy didn't hold well. I got one of the cheap handles off eBay; like $13 shipped. It arrived super fast and I installed it today. Took about 15 minutes. I ended up breaking the plastic piece that holds the u-pin for the manual window; l have to expoxy that now, lol.

The handle is definitely "cheaper" feeling but fit right in and seems to work fine:
