hey y'all hoping for some advise

Was slowing down from 65 all of a sudden my truck shuttered and I wasn't moving anywhere. Something from the front driver side is completely binded up, was able to force it off the road but won't move in parking lot. However, everything seems completely fine in reverse?...

Waiting on a jack as a buddy was borrowing mine, but the caliper is still held on. Figured maybe it was something in the caliper?.. I have an Aussie but I don't know why would it would only let one side move, it's never had issues in 2WD

    Thanks

It will drive with a good amount of gas but it sounds like something is grabbing and grinding the caliper.. just don't see anything

Get the tire off and pull the bolt and swing the caliper up, bet is the backside pad is down to nothing and wedging up

Pads have maybe 12k tops on em, maybe uneven wear but no sure why they would. Buddy with a jack is right down the road guess we'll take a look

If the brake pads are good and not binding on the rotor, then you got a wheel bearing going bad.
It sound like you have some trouble.

I'd say bearings as well, my truck just went out on me. The driver side. Wheel wasn't locked up but was hearing loud cracking noises moving forward as I was pulling out of a parking spot. It was my bearings I don't know what they're doing but I towed it home and have new ones from bama boy coming. But when the truck is in reverse the wheel straightens up and doesn't pop at all.

Sounds like the bearing, but check your flex hose on that side. It could be junk and not releasing the pressure right away.

That could cause a loud cracking? I mean it's not when I'm breaking I rolled for a good 10 to 20 seconds with consecutive cracking noises just about every half rotation of the wheel.
