    A thought.....

Could someone in the US purchase and ship to you? That may shorten the ship time via UPS, FedEx, DHL. Of course your cost.

I don't know for sure, just spitballing an idea.

Dana/Spicer is the OEM manufacturer. Should be able to take the part number off the broken flange yoke and find a new one here: https://www.danaaftermarket.com/aut...ge-yokes/list?cat1=LVB&cat2=LV&cat3=FY&sort=1

While you're at it I'd replace all the other U-joints and the carrier bearing, they're not that expensive and think of it as cheap insurance. Go with Spicer or another quality brand like SKF for u-joints. Hope this helps!

The fresh rebuilt shaft sitting in my garage could have been there by now!

    Details on that?

I’d love a shaft that could withstand playing on rocks and not get dented.

Didn't have any luck getting parts or finding driveshaft shops able to work on it. I ended up just getting the entire new driveshaft because winter is approaching quickly and I'm short on free time.

That leads me to my next point... Does anyone want to purchase my old one to repair? It will need: new u-joints, likely a new carrier bearing, and a new flange yoke on one end. I can ship it easily in the box that my new driveshaft came in (Canada or USA). Willing to sell it relatively cheap!

In addition to that, I'm also wondering if anyone knows where I can get the 4 bolts that connect to the front end of this propeller shaft. I have 2, but the other 2 seem to have gone missing and new ones are not provided with the new propeller shaft. I've asked Toyota and they do not supply those bolts by themselves.

These are the bolts I’m in search of now. I need at least 2 more. The Toyota employee just said I can find any old bolt that would fit, but I highly doubt that. Aside from matching threads I imagine it needs that bump out in the middle and would have to be a certain grade of bolt to withstand the torque subjected to the driveshaft 5E0FF939-A576-40C0-81C8-5CC7BF96C3C5.jpg

Take those bolts to a drive line shop and they should be able to match them up.

Those bolts look like a wheel stud ??

They're the bolts that connect the front of the rear propeller shaft to the transfer case. I've asked around at drive shaft shops and nobody seems to be able to find me these bolts, and they say I should go to Toyota. The problem is Toyota only sells those bolts with the transfer case for some reason.

It's very frustrating that Toyota couldn't just sell me a flange yoke to replace the broken one I have, instead only offering the entire propeller shaft assembly, and now they can't even get me 4 simple bolts without trying to sell me an entire transfer case. It's insane. I'm out of ideas now

I’d use standard bolts with either a lock washer or removable lock-tite and call it a day.

Yeah the factory bolts are fine thread M8 or M10, something like that. Id just use a regular hex bolt of the same size (high-quality and high-strength of course)

Just make sure they are opposite each other on the flange for balance reasons.

Youll probably find the original ones you lost soon enough anyway.

Replace all 4 bolts with Grade 8 or metric equivalent.

Go to your local hardware store who has metric bolts. Pay attention to the strength Grade.

Instead of Locktite, try a set of 4 nylock type nuts. Here again, match the strength Grade.

If the local box store doesn't have, go to Fastenal or McMaster Carr.

You don't need the exact bolts.

Focus on the diameter, length and strength grade. Get matching nuts.

A flange head bolt paired with a flat washer and nylock nut would work very well.

you can buy the Toyota bolts, the transfer case ends have serration bolts like a wheel stud but I just replace them with the same bolts that hold on the shaft to the differential. Easily sourced from Toyota

    Bolt - 90105A0075
    Washer - 9020111013
    Nut - 90178A0045
