Was headed up to check out the mountain property and there was about a foot of snow. Started spinning so I put it in 4 low went about a mile and the there was a drift maybe 18” deep and 15’ wide tried to crawl through it and about halfway started to get stuck so I went WOT for about 2 feet and then I had a 2wd.
The best part is Toyota won’t fix it under warranty because driving your truck on a county road with snow on it is not considered normal driving conditions. So I’m told by two dealers.

Diff drop places the diff lower, we have other posts on here with similar results.

Most places don't install diff drop spacers anymore due to the vulnerabilities.

Basically instead of the bracing and skid plate taking any damage, the force goes into the diff case.

Ok, I'll leave the original quote here.

Lets say its wheel speed, doesn't the diff spacers void the warranty anyway?
