One of my leafs seem to be broken and have to get replaced, instead of getting the whole thing replaced I was thinking of getting an aal instead, how would that go

Toyota will replace the early 2+1 springs under recall with a 3+1 spring, call your dealer.
It appears that you have the 2+1 being a 2006 and that they are rusty, hard to tell from your pic.
Toyota may also install fresh shackles and U-bolts

Then if you need an AAL for hauling weight after that, hit Archive up

Is it an expensive replacement with toyota dealer? Cuz I've heard it's a pretty expensive fix with a mechanic shop
I was thinking of getting an aal and replacing it wt the broken leaf
