I was doing an oil change and I noticed one row of fins on my front radiator is broken off and hanging.

is this a super big deal or is there an easy fix?

That's the A/C Condenser, if it isn't leaking I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Just snip the piece off that's hanging.

Is there any like clip or something to be able to keep it fully intact? I just don’t know what actually broke off nor what it would be called to look for it

No it's just the top row of fins has separated, nothing flows through the top row but the next row has refrigerant flowing through it. Nothing can really be done with it other than replacing the condenser, looks like corrosion is starting to get to it.

Ah I don’t know how to describe it but I looks like the one side was welded to the metal sides. Also don’t know if this changes anything but the picture was taken from the bottom. So it’s the lowest row that’s hanging.

Yea it's supposed to be one piece, nothing flows through the top and bottom row of fins so it should be fine until it starts leaking but you should either secure that tail somehow or cut it off so it doesn't end up poking the radiator.

Condenser isn't super expensive (Around $100) should it need one but you would have to get a shop to evac the refrigerant to change it then have them pull a vacuum on it and recharge it.
