Carried the floor jack in the cab and didn't tie it. The handle slid into the cab and shattered the glass. Toyota wants $1300-$1400 to replace with an OEM glass, so no thanks. Scheduled with Safelite for $520 OTD. Lazy and stupid so it bites me in the arse.

Looking into Power rear glass but no one here does it and I can't wait....Safety issues.....

    Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Did you check with your insurance company. Some places ( here in SC ) mandatory coverage for glass breakage Zero Deductible.

Same here Husker - a glass rider is on my policy.

$520 for a rear window is more than I would have guessed.

Yeah, wish I am in SC....

Got it replaced today, quoted $520 but offered them to pay cash and they gave me $70 bucks off. Receipt and Lifetime warranty.....

Saved the center slider....I know some days some of you will be looking for that piece alone......and I can do good deeds there.
