Not ALL spacers do this. 3" lift spacers will if the bump stops aren't spaced because they're too thick which DOES turn the shock into the bump stop.

2" lift spacers DO NOT experience this issue because there is still shock shaft leftover with a 1" extension(2" lift).

I don't get it? Would you like a link to the details of what I'm talking about?

I'd be interested in any actual proof or testing you've done with actual measurements?

^2" spacers that go between the coil and the top plate won't cause this... most of the time. 2" spacers that go over the top plate can still do it. And Drew_05Tacoma has the Rough Country lift, which is 3" lift spacers over the top plate.

No. A 1" thick spacer will NOT cause this because there is over 1" of shock shaft left at full conpression(resting on the bump stop).

3" lift spacers DO cause this IF the bump stops aren't spaced appropriately since they are thicker.
