I was removing my bed for some rust repair and I broke a welded nut loose so it’s just spinning in there. I have tried clamping a vice grip in there and pb blaster, nothing is working. There isn’t enough room for me to cut it off with a angle grinder any suggestions?

Try a Dremel with 1" cut off wheel
Or drill the nut with a 8 x 1/8" metal bit and split the nut off if you don't have a cutting torch.

also an option is just grinding the head of the bolt off until its smaller than the hole then with the whole thing now loose just slid it out the bottom.

Is this one of the forward bed bolts? Pretty sure those nuts aren't welded...

It it one of the front ones it looks like it was a welded square nut, but I may be wrong.

My plan was to cut through the floor of the bed to get to the nut from above, but I ended up not needing to.

It was spinning with a breaker bar (made a loud bang as it spun, every rotation or so. so I think the nuts have a tab on them or something - but I don’t know for sure). My impact was able to zip it out thankfully.

I went through the same thing. It is possible to get a bar in there to hold the nut from spinning. It’s a pain in the ass but can be done
