IMG_2998 (1).jpg IMG_2999 (1).jpg My wires busted off the back of the light bulb socket, I got a new socket, but I need the wires (to splice into harness, I guess?)

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You can remove the terminals from the socket and solder them back to the wire.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same boat, and it seems you can't buy a new connector that actually has the wires coming out the back so I can't figure out how to fix it.

You need to 'de-pin' or remove the terminals from the connector using a 'de-pinning' kit and then simply resolder the conductors to the terminals. Should be all of a 5 minute job.

Why do those 5 minute Jobs when your parked in front of the garage door end up taking a week and costing a fortune .
