    Any engine builders offer a balance and blueprint service for the engine? Since you are going lightweight you would see smoother and higher revs. Not sure if the engine valve train could take the higher revs.

    Noice! Saved for later. It'll be good to review how to take apart my dash regardless.
    As far as I know, the main thing everyone does when they go performance is port and polish the heads, which comes with upgraded valving.

    Should I get to that point it'll be awhile from now haha

    That is my block heater, when they pulled the bumper they left it hanging out, I have since tucked it back into it's storage spot.

    The 2.5L is awesome for power when it's just yourself, but the car can be pretty affected by weight. I loaded up the car south with my summer tires to swap over (not mounted), my luggage, plus a buddy. She handles more like a fat pig then, still enough power to get up and go on highways but much slower.

    Thats part of the reason I'm just going for a crazy efficiency build.

    Ah I see. When I test drove one it seemed to handle nicely and have a decent amount of power although the sales guy was right next to me so that made it a little slower. I have the 2.4L 5 speed model and have the same "issues" with mine for sure

    Its pretty peppy even loaded, but you can definitely notice weight changes in the vehicle haha. You have a 1st gen tC?
    Oh?? Where/what colour on the car? Never really thought about pin-striping myself.
