My Bronco is the most basic Black Diamond trim. 2dr, manual, with the base suspension.
So far I've replaced the suspension with the Bilstein shocks and springs that come on the Badlands, as that is the factory suspension with the most travel. Even more than the Sasquatch. I also replaced the rear trailing arms with Camburg uniball arms.
So far I am really impressed with it. I've taken it in some tight places that my Tacoma would never go and gone through and over obstacles that should have been more difficult than they were.

The grandson's bike fits just fine in the back of the 2 door.

Where did you order the suspension from? I really like the the look of the Sasquatch and the beadlock wheels. If you wanted to, I am assuming the factory wheels that come on the Sasquatch could be ordered from Ford? I had pondered ordering a base package and making it into my own Sasquatch on the cheap. Just would be missing the factory lockers though right

When I ordered, I could not get a manual with the squatch package. If I could have, I would have done that in a base and had an awesome vehicle to start with. That way you get the lower priced base with the upgraded front axle and front/rear lockers and lowest gears available. Definitely the way to go in the long run. Had it been an option for 2021 it's what I would have gotten.

For a 2021 model, my best priced vehicle was a Black Diamond trim with no options in the manual with rear locker. I ordered the factory Bilstein coilovers from Ford, as the coilovers are the only difference in factory suspension choices. Now you can find takeoff coilovers easy enough for less than $1000 for all four.

Been testing out the new suspension. Still a lot I want to change on it but the market is really slow to get new products out right now.

Now is it an available option to order a manual with the squatch pkg?
Also, I didn't know you could individually select rear locker as an added option, I thought the only way to get lockers was with the squatch pkg? It was quite confusing when I was trying to build one online to see what option combinations were possible.

I know you could only get the 2.3 eco with a manual trans. Does the 2.3 feel snappy still? I know it puts out good power numbers in the f150 aftermarket scene

Yes, for 2022 you can get the manual in the squatch package, which gets you an upgraded front axle as well as front and rear lockers. It's a great deal. Some of the trims allow you to add the rear locker and some trims come standard with it.

Compared to my Tacoma 4cyl, the 2.3L is a beast.

    Yes. it's a Bestop bimini.

I was an early res ordered sas trim. Pretty loaded. The HT quality was/is a disaster. Many other first, second yr gremlins. Dealer allocation was a mess. Seeing people months after I ordered get their broncos pissed me off. Dealer bronco specialist was a idiot. After over 2yrs wait I bailed and glad I did. Loving my tacoma.

Yeah, it was/is a real shit show, but I'm glad I have both. The Tacoma does stuff the Bronco doesn't and vise versa. I've been running trails in the Bronco that the Tacoma would never make and I've hauled several loads of stone and steel in the Tacoma this week that would have been a pain to use a trailer with the Bronco. I have a place for both.

Here’s what started my hunt for a Tacoma. Ordered the wife this Black Diamond MT back in October 21. Picked it up 1/31. After a few hours behind the wheel I decided we need to go back to being a fully manual family. Both of us always drove them until I bought my current Silverado. I got new stick shift envy and drove to the Toyota dealer 2/9, was told 3-4 months. Hopefully be in it by summer.

I hope so! I was worried acquiring the Bronco would have been torture. Little did I know what would await me in the evil Toyota Allocation System. It was a walk in the park dealing with Ford, aside from the kick in the wallet.

It'll be worth it. Allocation is a PITA but the trucks are great. I waited 6mo for mine years ago. A bunch of others on here have done the same. If that's the worst part about owning a Tacoma, I'll take it.

Yes, I’m waiting patiently (kinda). My Silverado is perfectly fine for now so I’m not desperate. Just very much looking forward to driving off the lot in my first brand new MT vehicle, before they’re all gone the way of the dinosaur.

Sounds like only another 18mo before the 4th gen debuts and the 6MT is gone. Check out the ADM (accumulator delete) and 2Lo Mod for your new truck

Will do! Briefly looked at the ADM and it sounds like something I will do. I’ve driven manuals my whole life and the one complaint I had about the one Taco I test drove was the clutch feel. It was pretty vague, annoying, but something I could live with. If that mod helps in that area then I am sold on it.

Wow! Love it. I really like my manual Black Diamond. I'm taking it on some really tight Jeep trails my Tacoma would never fit on and so far it's performed admirably. I did change to the Badlands suspension though. The stock hitachis were OK, but the Bilsteins offer quite a bit of improvement for little money. I will probably go to an ICON suspension in a year once parts are actually available. Also waiting on BAMF to make a rear high clearance bumper with spare mounted swing gate.
