Is your hood tweaked? It looks like the gap between the hood and the driver's side headlight is tighter than the same gap on the other side. Maybe the dealer can adjust it a bit. How do the rest of the body panels line up? I know the 3rd Gen was somewhat notorious for panels that didn't line up the same on each side of the truck. That color is awsome! Congrats!!!!

What other people said. Don't take this the wrong way. But with all the "bells and whistles" that came with your 4th Gen Tacoma, make sure you keep up with service. Especially engine oil and engine oil filter at every 5,000 miles, or sooner. But Toyota dealer probraly BS, go 10,000 miles. I would not go that long, either pay dealer chang engine oil and filter, or do it your self, keep the receipts.:D

    Dont think its camera angle...
Most likely a hood stop adjustment or hood alignment, or headlight adjustment....

Looked closely at it and the driver Side headlight is sticking out maybe 1/16” further on the left side of the headlight. I could loosen the headlight bolts and make it perfectly match the driver side.

My photo was taken slightly off center and is exaggerating the gap. Also the headlights have a downward bevel on the top that makes the gaps look larger than they actually are. In person it looks far better but I will tweak that headlight to make it perfect. The hood/fender/grill gaps are absolutely perfect

I plan to do an early change and change every 5k miles. I am quite meticulous with maintenance!

I absolutely hear the turbo spooling, no blow off noise, I’m sure they recirculate. It is music to my ears

Toyota should pay you a fee for this post. Best advertisement for 4th Gen IMO. Great looking truck!

That is a sweet color. I saw photos and videos of the Trailhunter in that color with the bronze wheels and couldn’t keep my eyes off of it.

Currently stock height but I’m installing the Peak Suspension 1.25” front leveling kit next week. It will leave the front 0.25” lower than the back which should be perfect.

I’m not a good person to ask mpg . My commute is short (1.5 miles) so I’m only about 13.5 mpg to work and back and the best I’ve seen on longer back road drives is 17mpg. Haven’t done any highway driving still. The wheels went on immediately so I don’t have a benchmark to stock.

This post is killing me. I have a TRD OR M/T incoming, but it's in my second choice for color, underground. Time to go back and search inventory for bronze oxide to see if there's anything out there.

In my search, I found more bronze oxide on the East Coast. A few smaller dealers had several on the lot with actual photos in different build spec. That was last week before I found my specific build out West. I almost purchased underground, and thankfully the local sales person screwed up the deal. It’s the most common color. I just couldn’t live with the remorse.

Ugh, I know. I've found a few manual sports in Bronze Oxide, but I value the OR over the color.

I just went back and found an allocated Bronze Oxide TRD OR M/T 5 hours from my house that hasn't been built yet. I got really excited until I looked at the breakdown of options, it doesn't even have the upgrade package but had about 3k of port installed options. Don't think I can get behind that. Maybe I'll expand the search and go on a road trip to bring it home.

I really am ok with underground...but the bronze is even better in person than in pictures.

Personally I think it’s worth finding the right one. I’ve seen underground in person and it looks good but it is nowhere near as interesting. Bronze oxide must have pearl in it. The color is very unique in different lighting scenarios. If you can wait, just keep looking! Is the allocation tracker still active? That’s how I found this truck. It was 9 hrs away from me - I had it shipped.
