Hey y'all, I haven't done any trail riding since I owned my xj about 8 years ago. I've been to Uwharrie but I haven't been to Brown Mountain. I've seen pics and it looks pretty fun, thinking about going for a weekend trip.

Aside from the norm, should there be anything extra I take with me? Things I should know?

Would anyone else want to try to set up something and maybe make this a group thing?

Alright, so after a bit of research, this seems like a decent move to dip my toes back in the water. From what I've heard, it's pretty busy on weekends with bikes and sxs, so we're gonna go during the week.
If anyone is interested, lmk and I'll add dates to this post.
From what I've seen online, it doesn't warrant a weekend trip, but, it's a decent drive for us, so we're gonna head down, camp, then hit the trail in the am.
