Brown Transmission Fluid

    My 2005 prerunner basic model does not have the zerk fittings on the ujoints. I would say pulling my trailer that it wouldn't have been to many more miles it would have been making a lot of noise.

    I got 64k miles. will check my fittings and change the fluid every 30k. I used a 110 gear oil in the rear, it was nasty looking also, but after looking at the fluids, i was probably a bit exagerated, i am not use to looking trans fluild....

    I just did the full home flush, 15 qts look like new.

    I test drove it just now, however with out the load of the trailer it was not making any noises. and i dont' want to hook up trailer right now, i will post back if this took care of the issues.

    Now I have a steering wheel wabble at 60mph.....not sure, maybe the drive shaft, I match marked them but ......I have had this intermit wabble since i bought the truck new......

    the trany fluild appeared to have blotted the same, not measureable with my eyes....
