I was wondering what you think about one versus the other, which you prefer to do business with, why or why not.

I just had a bad experience with Brownell's. Ordered magazines for my Ruger Mark III. They were the only place I could find them in stock listed at $24.99. Midway has them listed for $16.99, but out of stock and not expected in until May 27th. Immediately after ordering, Midway listed them as in stock and available (WTF). I called Brownell's and discussed the situation (not asking for anything unreasonable) and was frankly told will they do NOTHING for price matching or negotiation and I was stuck with them. I asked to cancell, too late she says, I would have to refuse the package at the PO and have it returned. Now I just received an email saying they lowered their price to $18.99. Sorry, I was turned off by the "No" attitude from their customer service and have ordered with Midway. I will be refusing the package from Brownell's.

It was my first time buying from either company, and will be my last with Brownell's. First impressions only happen once.

Brownells is my go-to for small parts like screws and such that midways doesnt carry.

Midway is my primary for everything else

there's a coupon/discount for midway on the NRAAM site.. not to knock brownells, but midway (larry potterfield) has been a tremendous donor to the NRA and associated foundations defending guns/hunting/conservation/etc... when i'm looking for stuff, i usually try midway first, ..also they are doing this in 2012:

Have to agree with WileyC, Larry Potterfield is doing big things to help conserve our gun rights. I go to Midway for everything first, they are cheap, fast, and have outstanding customer service. I ordered brass on Monday and got it Wednesday, pretty good for a big company. I don't have any experience with Brownells, but haven't had to since Midway has everything I've needed sofar.

I buy from both Brownell's and Midway, depends who has the best price. Midway is a little faster for shipping. Both have been very good to me. :D

As stated above Brownells, has some things Midway don't,but I stll use Midway more. I like the fast shipping, two days is the norm.

All interesting points of view. It's not all about price, a couple dollars isn't a huge deal, but the arrogant attitude I recieved from the woman in customer service going on about "we have been in business for 40 years blah blah" was not customer service at all.
I like the promotions and projects Midway is doing also. I was unaware.

yes larry potterfield, the owner of midway usa, is a big time contributor - every year at the annual meeting he presents a check to the NRA of contributions collected from his site, as well as his own personal contribution..
