Brush/Grille guard fittings question

    I was wondering if I bought a grille guard for a 1st gen Tacoma if it would fit on a 2nd gen. Are the mountings the same and it would just be a matter of not lining up with the body, or would it totally be a blunder? The guard in question is an Aries 1-piece I found on craigslist. Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

    My guess is, it probably won't work.. They have a different front end design... but thats my guess...
