I recently received a manik brush guard that someone had given to me and i stuck it up to the front of my truck and it looks like it would fit, i have reason to believe through looking on google for something similar, it is for an 03 f-150 but it has some damage.
In the pics u can see the damage, its not bad, the support bar will have to be replaced and the mounting tabs will have to be bent back.
i dont have alot of money to spend right now so i was hoping that i could take it to a shop to have it fixed. would this be possible and if so how much do u think it would run me?

    any help is appreciated, thx

Unless you have a friend that is real handy with a welder, it will probably cost you more to have this fixed and midified to fit your truck than it would to get a used one off CL or ebay. Anyone near the OP that is good with metal?

It's the "+labor" part that is the big question.

This one is brand new, $299.00 shipped and made for your truck. Could probably find a better deal if you were patient. If your "+labor" isn't too high, then you are getting a good deal and I would say do it. Otherwise, I would get one made for my truck. That's just my .02. Hope it goes well either way you go!

just buy a used welder for 200 bucks and fix it yourself... its the gift that keeps on giving.

I would not reccomend installing the brush gurad if you find out its really for an F150 or even if it is for a tacoma. Save up for awhile and order a new one if you have to have one. You will be much happier in the end. By the way....most of the after market brush guards shake. I have seen a number of these installed on trucks..Ford, Dodge, Toyota Nissan, they all have a shake or vibrate which I think is cheezy.

I had one on an FJ Cruiser I owned and it also had the "vibs" and shook. Most of these brush guards are only secured with four bolts.... For what its worth.

this thing has 6 mounting holes and sins im going to have new brackets do if it dont fit then i will make sure it dont shake.

i found one exactly like it and it fits the 3 gen 4runner, would that fit my truck?
