I just recently bought this Tacoma off of a buddy of mine and it came with this brush guard. However the guard doesn’t have any marking to tell me what brand it is so I have no idea how to install it or if I’m missing any parts from the front end of the truck as well. Need to know what parts I’ll need and directions on how to install if anyone can help! Thanks!

To be honest, you’ll probably get a better idea by actually holding the guard up to the truck and seeing how it “fits”. You and a buddy can hold it up and see. Or use some jack stands if you are by yourself.

It’s probably only going to go on one way.
You’d think it would be fairly obvious when you “get close”.
Use some under towels zip tied to the metal bars to keep it from hitting the paint.

It doesn’t have a front bumper or front valence. Do I need that to install the guard? Also doesn’t have the bumper mount brackets so I wasn’t sure if it will actually attach.

I have no idea. The picture of the brush guard looks likes it upside down.
If you hold it up there and there is nothing to bolt to, you’ll need parts. Or a metal fabricator.
(Or a friend that knows how to weld)

Ok I appreciate the insight. Any idea what brand it is?

Looks a little bit like Trail Gear or a Coastal Off Road kit, not sure the model names tho

There are holes for bolts in the crush cans at the end of front frame main members.

So do I need to have a front bumper and front valence panel in order to cover the a/c condenser or do I just mount it to the front and leave all that open?

Have you not tried what others have told you?

If you hold the bumper up against the rig, you'll see where the frame horns are used as @Black DOG Lila suggested.

The metal bar is what attaches to your frame horns and then that to the bumper.

I'm going by my own theory as I have no idea what bumper that is but it looks crazy easy to figure out.

To answer about the rest of the stuff, it's just left exposed.

Google aftermarket bumpers on a 1st Gen Tacoma, then click the images tab.

Yeah see what they are saying. Probably just overthinking it honestly. Just have to put all the pieces together. Thanks for the advice and heads up.

All you're missing are these pieces, even then they're removed for aftermarket bumpers-
