For a while now I've been looking around for a decent brushguard which wil hold up against a deer. After reading plenty of post and noticing that almost all the brushguards on the market are basically peices of metal placed on your front end basically for looks I've decided to get together with a friend who is a professional welder and design my own. The one question I have is in a perfect world where would be the best place to mount the guard on the front end. I know most are just bolted near the front skid plate in one or two places but I am looking to also secure it near where the fry baskets are (the more mount point the better). I know superbly I should get a whole new bumper but don't really want to go that route.

Any help with this would be great
