    Hey Tacoma world!
I recently bought a WAAG Brushguard—or damage multiplier— and it unfortunately didn’t come with the mounting hardware. Want it to be a glorified aux light holder. Do any of you have or know where I could get the hardware for my 2001 tacoma?

It should just reuse the factory hard ware that holds the bumper on if im not mistaken.
Im not 100% sure though, never installed one on a tacoma

Yup. There should be brackets that replace the tow hooks. And super long bolts that go through the frame.

Yeah, also the mount points don’t look like other grille guards, so I don’t know where to go from here. They don’t line up to anything.

Tried to find pics of mine from when I sold it. Must have deleted them. @Sperrunner trust me, this has nothing to do with the stock bumper mounts or atleast mine didnt. Mine consisted of two angle iron pieces that go between the tow hooks and the frame on either side. The brushguard mounted to those. There are two holes going through the frame rails top to bottom. There was another bracket that attached on top of the frame rail that stuck out of the lower grille piece. The guard also mounted to the parts that stuck out so you didnt have to drill the bumper. The OP's guard appears to be the kind that you drill the bumper as a secondary mount location.

Yeah, just confused on how to mount. Just drill into the frame at those holes?

If I can’t mount it I’ll sell it and keep the Hellas.

Yeah you're missing the brackets that hold it to where the tow hooks are. Afraid your only choice is to custom fabricate some, or just cut your losses.

Kinda figured, I know they make them but I don’t like the grill guard look enough to dive into that. Likely will just drill two holes in my bumper :X
