I was just there yesterday. He's still busy and training someone to help him out finally. Fwiw. I generally text him, I don't want to bother him too much. I know my rear bumper was about a month later than initially stated, but worth it.

I was given a 10-12 week lead time a couple weeks ago. Billy told me he was hoping to hire someone to maybe speed things up a bit. Hopefully the new hire does as great of a job as Billy does

Billy wont accept sub par work, that's for sure. If it's not to his standards, it wont fly.

I wished more people understood how long it takes to get all of the parts together to build these bumpers, and its ONE person doing it all.

I'm sure he wouldn't. Can't wait till my bumper is finished up so I can finally meet the man in person. I keep coming back on this thread just to look at people's pictures of their bumpers. Lol
I'm kind of considering now to put in an order for his bed rack. Thing is so nice

Just placed my order for my high clearance rear bumper. I can't wait to get it. This almost makes getting rear ended worth it lol

I recently sold my single swing out bumper and had billy build me a Dual Swing HC. For me it has to do with the length of the swingout arm. Parking and clearance issues aside, the main reason for me had to do with towing. Unless you have a ridiculously long tongue on your trailer with nothing mounted to it, a single swing out will hit it. Compounding that issue is the fact that I have a camper shell, so not only could I not drop the tailgate, I couldn't access the bed at all while towing. That was a deal breaker. So the dual swing was the way to go for me.

Had it not been for the towing issue I could have dealt with the parking space etc.
