    Truck got totaled out by insurance after that axle bending incident. Turns out the damage was far more extensive than just that. The frame and front end being the worst of it. Time to rebuild a different one.

    You mean measurement from top of bedside to the cut line on the bedside?

    i could take a measurement in the morning if you need but i just tried to stay level with the bottom of my tail lights. The gap between my bedside and top of hc bumper is maybe around .75”

    Yeah. That was my plan as well. Pretty sure that’s pretty much what we did last time.


    Also i remember someone mentioning grinding some areas for better mounting clearance on the rear bumper but now I can’t remember who it was or find the posts.
    Anyone remember?
