I talked to him a couple weeks ago for pricing info, but he said his lead time was 14 weeks.

Pretty common. He's not a huge organization pumping out garbage.

These are not looney tunes bumpers. They are made to smash shit.

Sorry didn't update my post. I got ahold of him. Got my sliders on order!!! 14 week lead time but that's okay. His work is worth it. Got a front bumper from him already. Now I'll have sliders. Then someday a rear bumper and bed cage!

I smashed a 10 point buck and a big doe head on and no damage at all! I got out and thought OMG shit has to be torn up but only deer hair. A guy from work saw me hit the buck and he thought the same thing...that things would be smashed but not a scratch. Can't say enough about Billy's work and I would wait 6 months if I had too. Ordered my rear bumper at the beginning of November and it should be here this week. Well worth the wait in my opinion and a terrific guy to work with.

Dang, I've started really wanting a brute force bumper, but looks like I'd need to change up my resi mounts. My ADS's came with the horizonal mounts so I'm sure that'd interfere with where the bumper mounts... hmmm.

I was able to sandwich my mount between the frame and the brute force reinforcement plate. my mounts were from @M C M but i imagine yours are similar if theyre horizontal.

Yeah I think they changed the mounts for the clicker versions. You can also always run the BAMF brackets which clear everything.

I removed the large bolt for the bumper and sandwiches the mounts in between the bumper and frame, drilled a hole through the mount and re installed the bolt for the bumper. ADS with the vertical mount

If anyone has contact with Billy or is going to contact him soon any chance you can ask if they have anyone tube hybrid bumpers with high hoop (3rd gen electronics -.-) in stock? currently on deployment and phone quality is trash. Thanks!

Oh for you guys running his rear with dual swing outs and tire carrier what leaf pack are you guys running? was able to install my rear right before I left and only have a add a leaf. I was looking at Dakars medium pack or All pros I was talking to someone from Wheelers off road and they recommended those 2 for my set up. I'm running the bumper, 2 tube cross bars and a RTT. Any help would be awesome!

As far as I know Billy is on vacation till the end of this week I think. As far as your leaf packs go. I would go with the heavy duty dakars. I have the medium duty set on my 2nd gen with a topper and they perform well but they sag a bit with added weight. I will be installing the aal soon to make them a hd pack

    good to know.
Thanks for the info, damn it sags with just the topper ? Okay. Wasn’t sure if heavy would be too stiff. Should be fine then.

My truck is heavy so I have some custom deavers (started off as deaver u402 pack but had a local spring company re-arch and add a leaf). I'd recommend going with a heavy duty pack. I had some sagging issues with just the dual swing out + 16" scs wheel + 33" tire + soft topper + hardshell tent on the cab rack + camping / offroading gear.

Don't forget to account for your camping + off roading gear + cooler of beer when thinking about how much weight you have on the rear when considering your leaf pack. You don't want your rear end sagging from the weight off-road

Which Deaver U402 pack did you start with that ended up sagging?
