Here's the stuff I used. Flexible and easy to use. I tried some other brand but it was way to rigid.

Same. I've tried email, text message, Instagram DM, and calling but I get the voicemail box and a message saying the box is full and not accepting anymore messages. The bruteforcefab Instagram has been posting a lot so he's clearly pumping out a ton of work right now.

I really like this bumper over other options, but I can't see to get into the queue to order one.

Stay persistant with trying his cell phone. Once you reach him, you're in. Obviously, dont blow the man up, but once a week or so and youll get him eventually. Try text and VM. Be nice and understandable that he is a small shop and swamped.

Never heard of anyone reaching him through other avenues besides his cell.

Yeah I totally get he's busy and I'm stoked for that, and definitely don't want to overwhelm him!

As luck would have it, I got a response!

Currently running a Softopper and will likely be moving to a hardshell. The bed is otherwise usually loaded relatively lightly. Figuring 75-80lbs of spare tire plus gas/water tanks on a BFF HC double swingout bumper, are Deaver Expedition Stage IIs good to go for both the soft and hard shells, or would I likely need to upgrade to Stage IIIs (or a custom leaf pack) if I was to upgrade to the hardshell?

Call Deaver and tell them your weight/usage, they will tell you what pack to get. Might be worth it to get your rear axle weighed too.

How many cans of paint did you guys use up painting your bumpers? Has anyone used Steel-It on theirs?

If I remember correctly, 4 can of self etching primer, 4 of black paint, and 4 of bed liner. 2 coats with each

Don't forget about the swingouts and have to go buy more paint like I did. Also, completely recommend the 48+ hours of cure time for the bed liner. I only did 20hrs ish and some got scraped off on install.

I assume that's just for a rear bumper? Think I should double that if I'm doing front and rear at the same time? Just trying to estimate costs.

Anyone have any sort of pointers about getting in touch with Billy? I’ve tried calling, email, inquiring through the website, DM on Instagram I just want a damn bumper but I guess he’s got enough money at this current time… any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Call or text, he's REALLY busy but once you get a call going with him he'll take his time with you and get you squared away. It took me a couple of tries too, even missed his call back the first time, but we were able to work out a time during his commute to chat.

Just got my order in for 2nd gen HC rear bumper. Called first an got to go over some questions. Then texted billy for a deposit invoice. Paid invoice and he replied back. Now the waiting game starts. Hoping it gets here sooner then later.

He doesn’t charge enough. I was impressed how thought out the bumper is. And for the record YRC can suck it. B51CD47E-5B2F-480C-88AB-EC8649F1ED7D.jpg 09C0D3A3-3277-4633-A0FA-3099140FDDD8.jpg EFA7E021-8797-49CF-9596-7244AF0B105B.jpg

Does anyone have a suggestion for what flip up license plate bracket to use for the HC Rear bumper? it's a fairly small space and most of the options I find seem like they would catch on the top ridge before I could fully access the hitch.

YRC isn’t that bad. It was on the other side of town for me but pick up was not that confusing.

As for flip up license plate, don’t buy this one as it’s a smidge too tight to flip up. I only bought it because it was $12. Had to grind/cut off 2 mm of my plate in order to make it flip up
